"I don't know who or what I'd die for," Rinoa admitted. "Father, obviously, but he wouldn't want me to. Mom died years ago. I don't think he'd forgive me for leaving him alone."

She took a long sip from her wineglass as she thought that over.

"There are ideals I might," she said. "But I can't say for sure. It's ... difficult, in my case. My death means a new Sorceress awakens. Maybe someone who didn't ever want those powers. Maybe someone who can't handle them, and will endanger the whole world."
