Wandering the streets of Fandom IN A DAYZE, Saturday!!!!

She was lost. She was LOST! She was lost and could never find her way home. She might already be home! That was the problem with AMNEESHA. You could be home and not even know it. And she, the beautiful and lost unnamed girl who had washed up on the shore this morning, had it. (AMNEISHA, that was.)

She, Beautiful Lost Girl, had nothing. Nothing! Except she might have everything. This town could be her home! She might live in an opulent mansion just down this block!!! How could she know? She might have fallen asleep on the beach last night. Maybe she lived on the beach! Maybe she had survived a drowning accident. Maybe it was murder!!!!!!

It was probably attempted murder. That was why no one was looking for her. She should be careful. They didn't know she had survived, and she didn't know who to be careful of, thanks to the AMNESHIA. Curse her foul ANMESHIA!

She, Beautiful Lost Girl, had nothing but the very wet clothes on her back. And this purse, of course, though it was nearly empty. Most of its contents must have been washed out to sea, when some strangers cruelly, cruelly tried to murder her and stole all her money and probably jewels.

Only two items were left, and they held the keys to her identity.

One was a small scrap of paper, on which was what must be her name. Wrigley's Chewing Gum.

The other was a larger paper, and it was more confusing. She would need to take it into town, and see what someone could make of it.

Wrigley's didn't know who she could trust. But someone, somewhere, could help her decode this Verizon Past Due Notice and understand the reason behind her foul attempted murder and subsequent AMNEESHIA.

"It's very nice to meet you, too," Wrigley's said. "Rapunzel, what a beautiful name. I wish I recognized your name, but I don't."

She glanced around surreptitiously. "Can I show you something? I think it might be very important, but I don't know how or why. But it might be essential to this mystery."

Rapunzel nodded enthusiastically. Anything she could do to help! "Maybe we can figure something out! And find someone who knows you!"

"Okay!" Wrigley's pulled out the only other piece of information she had.

It was a really lengthy angry-looking form, one with lots of information on it. One that explained in detail that someone's cell phone payment was past due, and that she had gone over her text message limit to boot.

"I think it's a clue," Wrigley's intoned.

"Let's see," Rapunzel said, pursing her lips as she looked over the form.

There was a lot to read, and Rapunzel only knew about half the words.

"I... don't know what this means," she admitted, shoulders slumping in defeat.

"Neither do I," Wrigley's said, taking the letter back with a sigh. "But someone will. I think this holds the key to why someone tried to kill me."

Wrigley's was apparently also too dim to realize that the bill had her actual real name on it. That was just how she rolled.

Rapunzel didn't know enough about bills to have picked up on the name either. "Maybe we should go look? Because you're right. Someone should be able to help!"

"A brilliant idea," Wrigley's decided. "Where do we start?"

"Ah--"

Normally Rapunzel would suggest her roommate, but something was bothering Hanna today, and she didn't want to add to the other girl's burdens.

"Um. I don't know." Maybe she could find Warren? He'd been very nice!

"Maybe we can just go ask people? And stick together so that you stay safe."

"I hate putting you at risk," Wrigley's fretted. "Promise me at the first sign of trouble, you'll save yourself."

Or at a pre-recorded segment that Wrigley's had done with other people that should have occurred later in the day, since the writers had been screwing up the timeline again.

"I can't just leave you alone!" Rapunzel said, fretting herself. "But... if, if it's dangerous we'll both run together, okay?"

"We'll try," Wrigley's agreed. "So which direction do you think we should head? East? West? Which direction is east, anyway?"

That wasn't the amneyesha talking. Wrigley's didn't know directions very well.

"Let's just try east?" Rapunzel suggested. "Which is that way." She pointed.

"All right," Wrigley's said, starting off in that direction.

"Do you know most of the people on this island, Rapunzel?" she asked. "Is it odd that you don't know who I am?"

Maybe this wasn't her home! Maybe she had washed up here, but the real killers were on a different island entirely!!!!!

"No," Rapunzel admitted with a shy little smile. "I'm actually new here, so I don't know most people. I'm sure lots of people know who you are!"

"Let's hope they're all as friendly as you are," Wrigley's said easily. "Or that they have a cure for amniesha. There has to be a cure, doesn't there?"

"Everyone I've met has been nice!"

"And probably?" She didn't know anything about amnesia.

"Then even if this isn't where I belong, perhaps this is where I'll make my new home," Wrigley's decided.

Still a Princess, then.

"So why did you come here?"

"I just wanted to see some more of the world," Rapunzel answered. "Before going back home."

"This island certainly looks like a lovely place to do that," Wrigley's sighed. "I'm sorry, I'm not a very good conversationalist today, I suppose. I wish I knew why I came here. Maybe it's my sacred birthright. Or maybe I'm fleeing from the police. You don't think I'm a criminal, do you?"

"Oh, no!" Rapunzel shook her head quickly. "You're way too nice to be a bad person!"

"Maybe this is my cover identity," Rinoa frowned. "Maybe I act nice most of the time but that lures people into not thinking I'm a criminal. Or maybe I'm not nice when I'm that person again. What if I don't want to have my memory back, because that person isn't nice at all???"

"But if you can't remember anything, wouldn't you forget to act nice?" Rapunzel asked. She wasn't precisely familiar with amnesia, so she wasn't sure.

"Maybe it's a habit," Rinoa said, thinking it over. "I don't really know how amnysha works. I'm not a doctor. At least, I don't think I was one."

And the writers certainly didn't know shit about it, either.

"Well, I'm sure you're a great person, still!" Rapunzel insisted. Wrigley's had to be!

"Thank you," she said, blushing. "More importantly, we already know for sure that you are."

"Me?" Rapunzel blinked? "A great person?"

"You really think so?"

Wrigley's was taken aback by the other girl's surprise.

"Of course," she said. "You're helping me, a complete stranger, even though I've been a bit standoffish with you. Even though I might be in a lot of danger, and could be getting you in danger, too. You have to be pretty good-hearted to want to do something like that."

"Well, what else would I do?" Rapunzel asked, wide-eyed, but still blushing at the compliment.
