Land Shark Common Area, Tuesday Night: Impromptu Girls' Slumber Party

Rinoa's BFF Ariel was having a rough week. That was no fun. And -- inspired by the fact that most of her cabinmates were female (seven of the eight of them, in fact) -- Rinoa had had an Idea.

Which was: a completely disgustingly girly party. Pajamas, make-overs, gossip, and really bad romantic comedies.

Rinoa had her jammies on already, and had made Ariel help her set up. Munchies, make-up, and movies. What more could they want?

She had even posted a few so very handwavey signs outside, in front of their cabin and places where the other cabins might see, with the important points: Girl Party, exactly how girly it was going to be, and NO BOYS ALLOWED.

Except Jono, since he was the eighth boy in the cabin and all. He could be an honorary girl for the night!! Wouldn't he be thrilled?

Especially if someone tried braiding his hair.

(OKAY SO: whore4trash and furnace_face modded with permission, and they totally rock for jointly inspiring this post. This is in the landshark common room but is totally open tooooooo:

- anybody who lives in Landshark, naturally!
- any girl student who wants to come hang out and be nauseated by the frou-frou-ness of it all
- despite the poster, any BOY student who wants to come can totally either (a) run screaming in terror or (b) stay and be girly. Fair warning: staying means you WILL be forced to endure horrific romcoms and probably get your nails painted.

"I don't think stripes count as overkill at all," Alex replied, with a small shake of her head. "Though, I guess it depends on the color combination?"

Alex usually painted her nails with one color, not one to mix it up with designs but Rinoa had her considering changing it up a bit.

It made sense to her.

"Maybe something sparkly like silver, just so you're not clashing?"

It made sense to Alex too.

"Sparkly is always a good choice. And silver goes with everything." Now she was tempted to paint her toes gold. If it was available, that is.

Nail polish was much better in that regard than, say, an impulsive tattoo.

"Nail-polish remover is a godsend," Alex stated. She'd had her mishaps with polish in the past. It really was something she couldn't live without. That, her laptop and her phone.

The girl had priorities.
