Land Shark Common Area, Tuesday Night: Impromptu Girls' Slumber Party

Rinoa's BFF Ariel was having a rough week. That was no fun. And -- inspired by the fact that most of her cabinmates were female (seven of the eight of them, in fact) -- Rinoa had had an Idea.

Which was: a completely disgustingly girly party. Pajamas, make-overs, gossip, and really bad romantic comedies.

Rinoa had her jammies on already, and had made Ariel help her set up. Munchies, make-up, and movies. What more could they want?

She had even posted a few so very handwavey signs outside, in front of their cabin and places where the other cabins might see, with the important points: Girl Party, exactly how girly it was going to be, and NO BOYS ALLOWED.

Except Jono, since he was the eighth boy in the cabin and all. He could be an honorary girl for the night!! Wouldn't he be thrilled?

Especially if someone tried braiding his hair.

(OKAY SO: whore4trash and furnace_face modded with permission, and they totally rock for jointly inspiring this post. This is in the landshark common room but is totally open tooooooo:

- anybody who lives in Landshark, naturally!
- any girl student who wants to come hang out and be nauseated by the frou-frou-ness of it all
- despite the poster, any BOY student who wants to come can totally either (a) run screaming in terror or (b) stay and be girly. Fair warning: staying means you WILL be forced to endure horrific romcoms and probably get your nails painted.

Jono did not have cute PJs. In fact, Jono was really just attempting to pass on through, and might have done well to use a different door on his beeline in a generally alcove-like direction.

From here on in, Jono would most certainly be paying closer attention to signs that people posted, yes.

Oh my gosh. This was just what Ariel needed right now, something to get her mind off curses and ki--- well, probably not kissing, but definitely curses! Although she worked in a store with plenty of other cuter PJs, Ariel was still very attached to her comfortable pink nightgown (http://www.fanpop.com/spots/the-little-mermaid/images/1874081/title/little-mermaid-screencap) and was ready to stuff her face and just relax!

Who'd have thought after sixteen years of a palace full of estrogen she'd actually miss things like this after only a month or so?

Karla had seen the signs and decided this was exactly where she needed to be tonight. Fun, girls, laughter? Perfect. So she didn't really know the girls who were throwing it. That had never stopped anyone from showing up to her parties, had it?

Besides, maybe this was just the impetus she needed to finally throw that beach party she and Emma had been toying with for the past week. "Kiss kiss?" she called. "Can I come in?"

Alex had seen the signs near her cabin and decided to give the party a chance. Why not? She was trying to be more social after all. She entered the cabin, dressed in her pjs (http://edge.shop.com/ccimg.shop.com/230000/232300/232367/products/alt_27084471.jpg) and looked around. "Anybody home?"

Yes, she thought she was funny with her pajamas. And she might have been looking forward to doing girly things tonight.

Puck was bored. And really, a sign that said no boys allowed? That was like a beacon, calling him like a moth to a flame: there would be hot girls here. And he could infiltrate and bond with them, and then maybe it would turn into a giant sex-party!

Squall facepalmed. There was a sign announcing a girly party, no boys allowed, on RINOA'S cabin's door. If he were the sort who was given to exaggeration, he would be fearing for the safety of the world. But he wasn't, so he was just sighing and glaring at the sign.

Eventually, he knocked on the door. "RINOA! Open up!!!"

Helen, well, she had black cotton pajamas that looked probably a bit more like a martial arts type outfit. Most of her clothes were black. The hands of Uquar always wore black.

She might have added a bit of color since her stay here, but still, the majority of her wardrobe? Yeah. Black and distinctly non-girly.

Still... this was all rather tempting - not that she was quite ready to admit it, but still...
